NBN network

A few years ago your average phone line connection to the internet was sufficient for most internet use. Today, with much greater use and many more sophisticated applications, speed is becoming much more important. And, internet speed will become even more important as features like Cloud Computing become more widely used.

Sandhurst Club stands apart from most other areas with our own high speed fibre optic connection, providing speeds that the much discussed National Broadband Network will eventually provide.

The NBN roll-out is progressing but, for 2012, only 28 towns or suburbs across the whole of Australia have been planned for connected, (just 7 in Victoria) so there will obviously be a long wait for those who do not live in those chosen areas – up to 8 years !!

Sandhurst Club has been connecting homes since its commencement in 2001 so we were 10 years ahead of most of Australia. This demonstrates the forward thinking and planning of the development company and their commitment to creating a special residential environment, with not just high speed broadband but also the Health Club and the wide range of services available to residents.

Sandhurst continues to lead the field !!
